Ensure recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices supports a strong candidate experience and are aligned with Company’s values and expectations
Lead the on-boarding process of new hires
Lead the implementation of effective training programs and other initiatives that foster employees’ growth, enhance skills to drive both individual and organizational success
Become knowledgeable about the Company’s operations and processes
Stay up to date with best practices and new recruitment technologies, incorporating innovative approaches into talent acquisition and development efforts.
Measure the success of recruiting initiatives using appropriate HR metrics and data
Contribute in the Company’s budgeting exercise
Undertakes any other tasks assigned within the Department which are relevant to the competencies and position’s summary;
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures;
Project and maintain a positive image with those contacted in the course of the work;
Missions
The “Talent Acquisition & Development Lead” drives the full spectrum of recruitment process and the integration of new recruits in a timely & cost-effective manner. He/she also provides strategic support for the training, performance review and succession plan of the employees to support the Company’s growth and success.
Profil
Master’s degree in Human resources, or Administration or Management
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Talent acquisition & Development
Experience in the extractive industry, or in the construction & public work industry will be a major asset
Relevant experience in HR functions other than Talent Acquisition & Development will be a major asset
Knowledge & Skills
In-depth knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment tools including social media
In-depth knowledge of the provisions of Malagasy Labor Law
Fluency in Malagasy, French and English (oral and written)
Proficient in MS Office applications and Familiar with a computer platform environment
Strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills
Strong ability to listen, analyze and make decisions
